Xcitor flight to Wimereux (21 may 2011)

Didn't know what to do on saturday. Friend called if I wasn't interested to fly to Wimereux.... didn't take that long to decide.
Total trip was about 180Km... so of we went....

This years Surpreise trip went again to Spain but now in the region of Salamanca, Valladolid.
Excellent weather, Excellent flying, what more could you want to kick of the winter season :)

Reserve throwing day (22/11/2008)

One should throw his reserve at least once a year. This in order for you to test the correct working af the
reserve and also to test if you can easily reach the handle, get used to it, etc.... If you have not done this before, then do it.... you would be surprissed how many don't work.

Basse Ham 2008

The largest gathering of paramotor pilots in the world.
more then 500 pilots subscribed for the event.
The worldrecord of the largest amount of paramotors in the air at the same time was broken again.
This year 327 pilots where in the air at the same time.

A truly fantastic experience, lot's of fun, a safe way to experience the speed of freefall and learn the maneuvers.

Christmas Day 2006

Christopher had a wonderfull idea to go flying on christmas day.
Everybody could come as long as you were dressed like santa claus.
A total of 30 Santa Clauses got airborne and we even made the news on 2 national television channels

Basse Ham Mondial 2006 (23-25 June)

Basse Ham, the place to be with more then 400 registered pilots a massive event.
We have beaten the worldrecord of the most simultaneous paramotors in the air at a given time.
The prior record was 140 paramotors
The year we have broken the record with a total of 210 paramotors in the air at the same time!!!
(I felt like a bee in a beehive)
Sadly enough I didn't film that much, but better something then nothing.

My first freefall parajump 03/06/2006

My dear friends couldn't resist offering me a tandem parajump for my birthday.
Hmm.... I wonder why..
This is something everybody should at least do once in his life, and my time had come.... so no escape
(although I tried)

Time2Fly Paramotor Trip to Portugal and Spain (Okt-Nov 2005)
Time2Fly organizes a paramotor trip. The idea was to have major fun and fly from dawn till dusk.
16 pilots took part on this fantastic journey, each travelling more then 900Km with their paramotor, overflying fantastic scenery and each of them extending their piloting skills as the journey continues.
We flew in all kind of conditions but kept it safe all of the time.
A truly wonderfull unforgetable experience.

Lemmings Fly-In (UK)
We were invited to the Lemmings Fly-In in the UK.
The Lemmings are a bunch of totally crazy paramotor pilots, who are all very funny and eat props for breakfast (so they say, although the prop count was not that high during the fly-in).
Fantastic surroundings, great fun, you have to be there next year.

During our paragliding fieldtrip to Berga July 2005 we had to go to Organya which is the home playground of the Rodriguez brothers and other amazing pilots, a must see again and again.

These guys truly come from Mars (Someone told me there, and...... yep their right, they just can't be human)
Sadly I do not have that much video footage since my Cam was down and I was at the takeoff, but better something then nothing right?

25-26th of June 2005, les folie's paramoteur the place to be in Nantes france.
Atlantique paramotoring in france organizes an event (each year, but from now on every 2 years) where all paramotor pilots gather to get dressed up and fly, fun guaranteed. Off course we had to be there, it's a long drive (700km) but well worth it.

Paraddax pre-show training and test
17th of June 2005, The paraddax group are professional Spanish paramotor pilots performing sensational shows using powered paragliders. They were invited in Belgium for the inauguration of a windmill park owned by CityPower.
Off course, we had to be there. We attended their trainingsessions and the actual show. Amazing how they modified their paramotors to perform all sorts of things. Check out the laser-mount on the duo-system.

Para Witches
12th of June 2005, A belgian television show called "Fata Morgana" challenges a town to do 5 tasks. One of the tasks was a witch dance with 77 witches, but 7 of them needed to be airborne......that's all what we needed to know...
